My mom and dad have spent the last 50 years building a legacy that is more powerful than any Gospel tract could ever be. In their love and loyalty to one another, they have shown the rest of us how God loves us and how we can know Him forever.
We cannot change our history, even our most recent history, but we can start where we are, confess our sins, receive God’s forgiveness, and return to Jesus before trying to celebrate His birth.
We can give thanks because our pain is only part of the story.
Politics, race, or religion do not make people judgmental. Sin does.
